Welcome to our site !
We are interested at gaining a better understanding of the effects of environmental change on species, and the consequences for human health and society.
Are species able to cope with the ongoing rapid global change? What are the effects on diversity and species persistence of the human-driven alteration of natural habitats?
More specifically, we study the combined effects of climate change and habitat fragmentation on the range expansion of the white-footed mouse P. leucopus and its implication in the spread of ticks and Lyme disease in Québec.
